Tina tabled at the Rochester Climate March in Washington Square Park for 3 hours Friday afternoon. She brought her trusty “How Green is Our Cuisine” display board to illustrate the facts about livestock’s effect on the environment. It was a lovely day and the event was well-attended. While the majority of people there knew about the connection between livestock and greenhouse gasses, some still did not, everyone learned something, and almost everyone who stopped took home copies of the True Story series of fliers which explain what legally happens to farmed animals. Tina had many good conversations with people to help them navigate issues around their actions as a reflection of their values.
RAVS was there as well to provide information about the environment and the how’s of going vegan.
Thanks to Climate Solutions Accelerator and others for organizing, and for graciously permitting us to table within the event.
